Cheryl Daniellee Davis-McClain, best known by Cheri, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in her home. She was born January 24, 1955 in Seattle, Washington to the union of Walter L. and Mary L. Davis. She was the second of three children.
She attended Seattle Public Schools and graduated from Franklin High School. After High School she attended Bellevue Community College. Later Cheri was employed by the well-known family business R&L Home of Good Bar B Que where she loved to chat and humor her customers.
Cheri had a unique gift for art which made her to become a freelance artist. She had an eye for fashion design and always wore fun hats completing her ensemble. She cared a lot about the environment and even gardened in her free time.
Cheri was a woman that had a compassionate heart for her family, friends and all those that crossed her path. No one was a stranger to Cheri. She brought joy and laughter to everyone. She loved helping people and she did so without fanfare.
Cheri preceded in death by her grandparents Reverend Robert and Louise Collins, father Walter L. Davis. She is remembered with deep love and affection by her mother Mary L. Davis, two siblings Barbara L. Davis and Pierre Davis (Jackie), her aunt Patricia Collins and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
